SkillArena is built for entertainment. We want every player to enjoy the experience safely, within their means, and in control.
SkillArena is a skill-based competitive gaming platform. While we believe competition is healthy and rewarding, we also recognise that gaming with real money requires responsibility — from us and from you. This page outlines how we support safe play and what tools are available to help you stay in control.
SkillArena is committed to providing a safe, fair, and enjoyable environment for all players. We take responsible gaming seriously and have put in place policies and tools designed to keep play entertaining — not harmful.
We will always:
SkillArena is strictly for users who are 18 years of age or older. By registering and participating on the platform, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
Any user found to be under 18 will have their account immediately suspended and any funds in their wallet will be returned to the payment source where possible.
We also expect players to be in a sound mental state when participating. If you are experiencing emotional distress, financial hardship, or any situation that may impair your judgment, we strongly encourage you to pause and seek support before playing.
SkillArena involves real money. Entry fees are paid from your wallet, and winnings are real. This makes it important to treat your participation like any other discretionary spend — with a budget and a limit.
Our advice: Only deposit and play with money you can afford to lose. Never chase losses. A loss in a match is a normal part of competition — it does not mean the next game will go differently.
It can be hard to recognise when gaming stops being fun and starts becoming a problem. Here are some warning signs to watch for in yourself or someone you know:
Spending more than you planned or can afford, repeatedly.
Chasing losses — playing more to try to win back money you've lost.
Feeling irritable, anxious, or restless when you're not playing.
Lying to friends or family about how much time or money you spend.
Neglecting work, school, or relationships because of gaming.
Borrowing money or selling items to fund your play.
Playing to escape stress, anxiety, or emotional pain.
Feeling unable to stop even when you want to.
If any of these apply to you, please reach out for help. You are not alone, and support is available.
We provide the following tools to help you manage your experience on SkillArena:
Set a cap on how much you can deposit in a given period. Once set, it cannot be raised immediately — a cooling-off period applies.
Pause your account for a set period — 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. You can request this at any time by contacting support.
View your full match history, deposits, and withdrawals in your account dashboard to stay aware of your spending.
Permanently or temporarily close your account and block yourself from re-registering. See Section 06 for details.
To activate any of these tools, contact us at admin@skillarena.site and we will action your request within 24 hours.
If you feel you need to stop playing entirely, self-exclusion allows you to close your account and prevent yourself from returning for a defined period — or permanently.
Once self-exclusion is active, we will not reopen your account during the exclusion period under any circumstances, even if you request it. Any remaining wallet balance will be held securely and returned to you when the exclusion period ends (or immediately upon request for permanent exclusion).
We will also remove you from all marketing communications for the duration of your exclusion.
SkillArena is not designed for or directed at anyone under the age of 18. We take the protection of minors seriously.
If you share a device with younger family members, we recommend using parental control software to restrict access to SkillArena. Free tools are available from your device's operating system provider.
If you suspect a minor is using the platform, please report it immediately to admin@skillarena.site.
If you or someone you know is struggling with gaming-related harm, financial stress, or addiction, please reach out to a professional. You do not have to handle this alone.
Nigeria: Contact the Nigeria Mental Health Helpline at 0809 680 1922 (available Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm) or reach out to the Mentally Aware Nigeria Initiative (MANI) at mani.ng.
You can also speak to SkillArena support directly at admin@skillarena.site. We will listen without judgment and help you access the right tools on our platform.
Asking for help is a sign of strength — not weakness.
